Butterflies: Live is the third full-length album and first live collection by Hawaiian folk-pop songstress Anuhea. The performances captured on this two-disc set come from multiple different shows on her spring 2013 tour, with an emphasis on dates in Colorado and California. 

Throughout the album, her soulful folk-influenced songs are peppered with the loose, easy banter one would expect of a native of Maui. The album was released by Jimmy Buffett's Mailboat Records in late 2013, and draws on material from her first two studio albums, 2009's Anuhea and 2012's For Love.

Feeling compelled to do a little behind-the-music with this new song we just released!
“Island Inside Me” is a song I wrote in collaboration with a Kickstarter Backer named Brian from Texas. Brian has always had a love for Hawai’i and the islands and we wanted to tell a little story, almost county-music-style about a person who lives on the mainland yet Longs to be in the islands. After pinching all their pennies they finally make it to the islands, and its perfect.
 After they have to leave and go home to their cold, snowy reality, they realize that the island has always been in their hearts. That Aloha was always there. I dedicate this song to the people and the beauty of Hawai’i that creates that Aloha spirit that everyone experiences, and I also dedicate this song to everyone who Doesn’t get to live in Hawai’i or experience the islands as much as they want. Once you’re touched by Aloha, its always gonna be inside you.
