So Roots band shares the experiences of happiness and heartache that come with love, in the upcoming release of their second EP titled “Love & Hate”.
With the success of So Roots’ single “If I Cant Have You” and the debut of their self titled EP topping in at #3 on the iTunes Reggae charts, So Roots took the positive feedback into the studio to record their sophomore EP titled “Love & Hate”. Through collaboration and their willingness to share their own experiences with love and relationships, they managed to pull together an EP that has already gained some buzz.
Their second single released from the EP “Is This Love” is trending in at #5 as one of the the most requested songs on Island 98.5 “Island Five @ 5″. In efforts to continue learning and push themselves further as a group, So Roots decided to team up with some of the most respected artists in the island music scene.
Among those are: Greg Amanonce, the lead singer of the Jimmy Weeks Project; Noah Cronin an engineer/producer who has worked with and laid foundations for singer/songwriter Sammy J; Imua Garza a previous member of local band the Opihi Pickers, John Davis the drummer for Ooklah the Moc; Calvin Canha the drummer of Inna Vision; Kaipo Kapua; and Kalani Kahalekai.
